Alastair Rimmer

Alastair’s wine journey began in Stellenbosch when he was inspired to change his studies from horticulture to viticulture. He believes his time working in the varied conditions of Spain, New Zealand, the US and South Africa has helped him to focus on the ‘important’ elements, irrespective of the area or style of wines he was making.

Looking ahead, Alastair aims to consolidate on what Kleine Zalze has achieved so far, and to contribute to Kleine Zalze’s identity both locally and internationally.
